How do I know if I need a re-roof or just repairs?
If your roof is leaking regularly, sagging, showing signs of rot, or has extensive tile or sheet damage, a full re-roof is often more cost-effective and long-lasting than patch repairs.
What does your re-roofing service include?
We handle everything from removing the old roof, installing new Colorbond steel, managing council permits, to coordinating all necessary trades like scaffolders, electricians, solar removal/reinstalls, and more. It’s a complete, start-to-finish solution.
How long does the re-roofing process take?
Most residential re-roofing jobs take between 7–14 days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof and weather conditions. We provide a detailed timeline before we begin.
Do I need council approval?
If you're converting from tile to steel, yes council approval is required. We take care of this for you, including engineered drawings and submitting all necessary documentation. If you're replacing an existing steel roof with new steel, no permit is required, as it’s considered a like-for-like replacement.
Can I stay in my house while the work is happening?
Yes, you can stay in your home. We keep the site clean and safe, and work with you to minimize disruption.
What roofing materials do you use?
We primarily use Colorbond steel (available in a range of profiles and colours), but we also do high-end architectural cladding and roofing on custom builds.
Do you remove asbestos roofs?
We don’t remove asbestos ourselves, but we work closely with a licensed and certified asbestos removal company who handles this professionally before we begin the re-roof. We’ll coordinate the entire process for you and include the removal in your project timeline and quote.
Do you replace eaves, fascia, barge boards, or other carpentry work?
Yes we have an experienced carpenter who handles all these works before the roofing begins. We manage all the scheduling and coordination so the process is smooth and hassle-free for you.
How much does a re-roof cost?
Most standard-size homes range between $30,000 to $50,000, depending on the size, roof complexity, materials chosen, and other trades involved (such as carpentry, asbestos removal, solar, etc.). Every home is different, so we provide a detailed, transparent quote tailored specifically to your property.
